Kiku Hughes is a comic artist living in the Seattle area. Her work has been featured in the Beyond, Elements and Alloy anthologies, and her debut graphic novel, Displacement, will be released by First Second in 2020. It tells the story of her grandmother’s time spent in Japanese American incarceration camps, and the lasting effects of inter-generational trauma.
