Zoe was a senior mentee in the Girls Write Now program and was born in Saint Lucia.
Shakeva Griswould
Shakeva is a Girls Write Now mentee alum who was born in the Bronx, NY and is attending SUNY Plattsburgh and was a semifinalist for the Posse Scholarship. Shakeva won an Honorable Mention from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. She was an intern at YCteen Magazine.
Jane Liu
Jane is a Girls Write Now mentee alum who was born in New York, NY and is attending Carnegie-Mellon with many scholarships. Jane won several Scholastic Art & Writing Awards including Gold and Silver Keys, and Honorable Mention.
Yesmil Polanco
Yesmil is a Girls Write Now mentee alum who was born in New York, NY and is attending college.
Carly Lyn Heath
Carly Lyn Heath holds an MFA from Chapman University. She is the founding owner of Charming Films, LLC—a film production, illustration, and design company—and writer/director of the award-winning feature length film “A Foundling” starring Cindy Chiu and Tim Chiou. She currently works as an art professor and illustrator and has recently completed a novel. Carly currently lives in Chadron, Nebraska.
