Moniza Alvi

Moniza Alvi was born in Pakistan and grew up in Hertfordshire. She has published eight collections of poetry, three of which have been shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot Prize. She also received the Cholmondeley Award for poetry in 2002. Her poetry books include Homesick for the Earth and At the Time of Partition, which was inspired by the partition of India and Pakistan and her family history. A new collection, Blackbird, Bye Bye, is in preparation.

Lilly Higgs

Lilly is an illustrator and comic artist working in her hometown of Louisville, KY, with her two cats, Peanut and Noodle. (Together they make Pad Thai.) The daughter of two authors, Lilly accepted her fate, knowing she was bound to do something creative. She attended Savannah College of Art and Design, including studying illustration in New York and Japan. Her previous publications include TokyoPop’s Gothic & Lolita Bible, F(r)iction #7, and Hazel.
